Captain’s log, day fifteen of our first real retirement voyage. Although we aren’t totally retired. And except that I am not the captain.

We left the Inlet today to head to a dock where we could fill the water tanks and take the dogs for some respectable walks.

We headed for Gorge Harbour Marina which is on the same Island (Cortez) we have been navigating around for days. Cortez happens to be a very cool area with lots of great anchorages.

The marina has a pool and hot tub which we will probably take advantage of tomorrow. There is also a store where we purchased a few things.

Pasta carbonara for dinner today with flatbread topped with sauteed peppers, onion, garlic and grated parmesan and then baked for a few minutes until the bread was crispy.

Next, I will take a long hot shower with the newly filled water tanks. We bathed in the ocean yesterday, but this will be much more pleasant.

Au revoir.
