Ha, yes, Newfies do say "from away" but I am not from Newfoundland. For some reason those words came to mind when I was in Gjpa Haven where there are so few people who aren't from the community. It was interesting to be in a place where you most definitely were aware you were known as a visitor by everyone in town.
