I also have seen videos of people who survived the Holocaust speaking out against this genocide. Of course. They know what it is like to be persecuted and hated in the way that Palestinians are being treated. And I would totally believe that many European Jewish people are opposed to what is happening.
I think that unfortunately Israel has now raised entire generations who now think differently than these older folks. And they are the ones fighting these battles and willingly going out to kill innocent people. Somehow hatred of the Palestinians has taken over any attempts at a vision for a shared land. And I wonder how much of Palestines history kids are taught? Do they learn about the Nakba? About how Palestine was given to the Jewish people? About the successive years of pushing Palestinians into smaller and smaller spaces? Did they teach about how peaceful relationships or something different? I have to wonder...
