I am so sorry that you have more than one story. None of us should have them. It is surprising how women sometimes won't speak up. Bury their shame and try to pretend it didn't happen.

My dad was a police officer over sixty years ago. Back when if a woman was dressed provocatively she was "asking for it". When it was hard to get a rape conviction when the woman had any past sexual relationships. When victims were regularly blamed.

Oh right. That all still happens. Sigh.
