I can relate to so much of this. It's the same up here in Canada; not enough services and everything is so short-sighted. It's so much cheaper to do the right things up front but the political will is not there

I feel the same way about the phone calls; even if they are bizarre it lets me know my kid is still out there. And I relate to the fact that my kid can be a lovely person but then again not depending on drug use or misuse or absence of the ones that they take that are necessary. I really feel for you. It's a life no family wants to have with their child.
