I so hope that your brother can keep up the fight and stick it out in rehab. I have been through this already; one of my other sons was an addict since he was a young man. He got clean after several months in hospital where he healed from lung and heart damage; he came home to live with us and eventually got a job and his own place. He was clean for four years but then he relapsed and died a year later, last year. We were glad we got the time with him that we did. The coroner said that once you've been an addict it just takes that one use again and your body craves it as if you never stopped. The son I write about here has been a chronic user; he walked out of a treatment program a few years ago and has not been able to stop since then or before. Addiction is a horrible thing to have or to watch.
