It's a huge epidemic here. We can't seem to stop the tide. It's devastating for the addicts and becomes problematic in communities as well. We have a big housing shortage and not enough programs to support those who want to get clean. There is no easy solution that anyone has come up with and meanwhile every day a half dozen people die. Someone's son or daughter, husband or wife.
