Meth really is horrible. It changes normal, friendly folks into something else entirely. My son is one of them. He is not the same person at all. It is heartbreaking for those of us who watch our family members live and die this way but it is equally so for those who live in situations like yours. In a community near me, some citizens went to take stolen belongings back from a homeless encampment and one of them was shot by one of the residents of the camp. It all makes for horrible situations for the meth heads and for those who live or work near them.
