Oh, such an adventure! I'm sure it will be amazing. I can't believe none of your friends took you up on the opportunity to stay with you! I've been to Italy once, for three weeks a number of years ago. The only place I've been in Europe really. It was amazing and we spent a few days on the Amalfi coast; so incredible.
