I read this story, (link below) written by someone I know that I think deserves a shout out. It’s hard to get started writing and even more difficult when time is short and your kids are calling you from the background, or perhaps your wife or the leaking bathroom sink.
I know for myself that I need to be uninterrupted to get the words flowing and I am fortunate that in my mostly retirement I get a fair bit of that. But not so for many others who have full time jobs and lives with more commitments than me.
One of the things I am loving about Medium is not just the chance to be encouraged to write myself, and have a forum to be read and responded to but the chance to find and read so many other great writers.
So here’s a new Medium writer, William Davidson. He’s just written a few pieces but I think they are worth a read.
My favourite of his is called Visitation. Just a bit of humour in there to make you chuckle which is always a good start to the day.
