There are school parties where cocaine is literally on the table. Sometimes people are prescribed painkillers after a work injury. Addiction to painkillers can start things off. Others start with alcohol and marijuana and cocaine and move on to more and more exciting ways to feel whatever it is they think they need. They don't plan to become addicts. They don't see it in their future. Young people don't think bad things will happen to them.
