You bring up so many great points here. I do know as I watch divorced friends with chldren navigate through visits with their children and step-children that as long as the adults put the needs of the children first it seems to work. Unfortunately not all of them do. Very sad to watch adults who make decisions about their children out of anger with their ex-partner.
